ABOUT US
The Institute of Medicine and Systemic Psychology (IMePS), founded
in 2003 by Giuseppe Ruggiero, deals with training, treatment and research in
the field of human systems, according to a methodology based on the principles
of the systemic-relational paradigm, as well as to the theory of complexity,
taking into account the results of the research in the field of interpersonal
neurobiology.
It is the
seat of the Systemic-Relational Psychotherapy School of
Further Education, recognized by the Ministry of Education (D.M.
6/13/2003 G.U. n.147, 6/27/2003).
The training
seminars are taught by internal teachers as well as by supervisors recognized
by National Scientific Societies (EFTA, SITF, SIPPR), working in collaboration
with external teachers from several Universities and national and foreign Schools
of Psychotherapy.
The training and clinical approach of the School, aka M.R.I. (Inter-Relational Model), though following the tradition of the Family Therapy (experiential, structural, trigenerational, symbolic approaches), aims at integrating systemic-relational therapy, mind sciences and theories of intersubjectivity.
